The Madison Torskeklubben – Trygve Lonnebotn Scholarship

The MTK is offering a scholarship for one Norwegian student to study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). The scholarship is open to Norwegian citizens and covers typically: travel to and from Madison, tuition, accommodation and basic living expenses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a full academic year.
Who can apply?:
Norwegian citizens between the age of 21 and 28.
You have a good academic record with good communication skills in English and Norwegian. Grade point average preferably B or better.
You love learning, meeting new people and have excellent social skills.
Involvement in extracurricular activities will be advantageous.
It is recommended that you have completed a Bachelor’s degree within your field by the time of departure.
Priority is given to students who will be enrolled at the graduate level (pursuing a Master’s degree). The scholarship is open to all academic areas, but priority is given to engineering and business students. If you are selected for the scholarship you must be accepted at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for matriculation beginning the Fall semester.
